Shanghai declined while Tokyo and Hong Kong rose. oil prices have risen.
Wall Street’s benchmark S&P 500 index fell 0.3% on Thursday after a Fed official suggested the Federal Reserve may need to raise interest rates to nearly double their already elevated levels to stem the rise in prices.
