Crude oil prices rose by Rs 29 to Rs 6,055 a barrel in futures trading on Thursday as participants increased positions following firm spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity ExchangeCrude oil for December delivery traded up Rs 29, or 0.48 percent, to Rs 6,055 a barrel in 20,014 lots.
Analysts said the increase in bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trading.
