Crude oil futures fell on Wednesday as concerns of a wider war in Ukraine eased after Poland and NATO announced yesterday’s deadly missile attack was probably unintentional.
Russia had bombed Ukrainian cities with rockets in the heaviest round of attacks of the war so far, but Polish President Andrzej Duda said it appeared one of Ukraine’s anti-missile missiles had fallen on Polish territory, and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg agreed.
