The outlook for the crude oil tanker market is likely to remain strong at least next year, supported by weak ship orders, despite the loss of some trade flows from Russia due to Western sanctions, leading ship operators say.
Russia has increased exports to Asia, Africa and South America after imposing Western sanctions over its invasion of Ukraine. But the sanctions mean many tanker operators are reluctant or unable to ship those cargoes.
