Nigeria is a fun country. Ours may be the only country in the world where we use ex-combatants to protect our crude oil pipelines. The police, army, navy, NSCDC and other security agencies cannot do the job. Ex-combatants who once fought in the trenches against the federal government are now responsible for protecting the facilities they once wanted to destroy because they weren’t allowed to benefit from the crude oil that was in the gut of “their” country. Isn’t that ironic…
