The DOJ has asked a US court to award Anglo-Swiss commodities trader Glencore a US$428.5 million penalty for pleading guilty to bribery of public officials in Africa and South America of up to US$166 million , which have been taken into account against corresponding decisions by authorities in Great Britain and Switzerland.
