With crude oil prices soaring lately, that means higher gas prices across the country — and Austin drivers are feeling the effects.
The average price for a gallon of unleaded gas in Austin is $2.72. That’s 14 cents more than a month ago, when the cost was $2.58, according to a report by the AAA Texas Auto Club. The statewide average price in Texas is currently $2.75 for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline, up 13 cents from a week ago.
