Sources claiming to be aware of the situation say Glencore plc will buy aluminum for embattled Russian aluminum firm UC Rusal, according to comments published by a news outlet.
Reuters reported on Thursday that two people with direct knowledge of the situation briefed them on Glencore’s decision. These sources also indicate that only about a tenth of Rusal’s books are looking for alternative aluminum sources.
