NEW YORK, Nov 7 (Reuters) – Global hedge funds rose 2% in October, helped by a rally in stock markets and a combination of higher inflation and interest rates, data provider HFR said in a statement on Monday.
Stocks, event-driven and macro hedge fund indices rose last month, according to HFR, and two-thirds of all hedge funds posted gains.
However, in the first 10 months of 2022, only macro hedge funds provided investors with positive returns.
