The center has reduced the windfall tax on crude oil from ₹11,000 to ₹9,500 per ton. According to a government announcement, this change will apply from November 2nd.
At the same time, the center raised the special additional excise tax on jet fuel exports from ₹3.5 to ₹5 per liter. The government announcement also showed that the special additional excise duty on the export of diesel increased from ₹12 to ₹13 per liter.
