NEW DELHI – Latest data released by the Ministry of Petroleum shows that India’s crude oil imports increased by 1 percent in September 2022.
The oil and gas net import bill was US$10.7 billion in September 2022 compared to US$9.4 billion in September 2021, while exports in the month were US$5.3 billion. Of the total imports, crude oil accounts for $12.8 billion and LNG for $1.0 billion.
