MUMBAI: Benchmark indices faced a lackluster trend in early trade Monday but later traded higher on inflows of foreign funds and a drop in crude oil prices.
The 30-stock BSE Sensex was flat in early trade, up marginally 15.81 points to 62,309.45.
The broader NSE Nifty was up 5 points at 18,517.75. Both benchmark indices later gained momentum.
