Crude oil prices rose today, according to the Energy Information Administration reported an increase in crude inventories of 2.6 million barrels for the week ended October 21.
This compared to a draw of 1.7 million barrels for the previous week, accompanied by modest moves in fuel stocks.
Last week, the EIA reported a 1.5 million barrel decline in gasoline inventories and a modest 200,000 barrel increase in middle distillate inventories.
