OPEC kingpin Saudi Arabia on Friday defended the decision by the oil cartel and its partners to cut crude production, saying they had done the right job to ensure a stable and sustainable market.

OPEC+ decided earlier this month to cut the crude oil production quota by 2 million barrels a day from November to support falling oil prices.
