oil prices rose slightly on Thursday as easing of Covid-19 restrictions in China, the world’s second largest economy and top crude oil importer, allayed demand concerns.

Brent, the benchmark for two-thirds of the world’s oil, was trading about 0.62 percent higher at $77.65 a barrel as of 10:22 UAE time. West Texas Intermediate, the indicator for US crude oil, rose 0.82 percent to $72.60 a barrel.
