Crude oil prices rose slightly today, according to the US Energy Information Administration reported an inventory drop of 5.4 million barrels for the week ended November 11th.

This compares with an inventory build of 3.9 million barrels for the previous week, which pushed prices lower last week.

In the case of fuels, the EIA reported inventory build-ups.

Gasoline inventories rose 2.2 million barrels in the week ended Nov. 11, with production averaging 9.8 million barrels a day, up slightly from a year earlier.
