A jam of oil tankers has developed Turkey following the imposition of a price cap on Russian crude oil by Western powers attempting to breach the Kremlin’s coffers.

The ships have ground to a halt after Turkish authorities in Ankara demanded that insurers prove the ships passing through the strait are fully insured.
