MEXICO CITY, Oct 31 (Reuters) – Mexico’s state-owned oil company Pemex saw its monthly crude exports rise 30% month-on-month in September, buoyed by rising demand from Europe and Asia following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine .
Pemex said in a weekend report it exported 1.21 million barrels of crude oil per day (bpd), compared with 914,665 bpd in August. Exports rose 23% year-on-year from the 983,000 bpd recorded last September.
