Quantum Commodity Intelligence – Price reporting agency S&P Global Platts launched the Platts European Sour Crude Index effective August 17 as a replacement for the long-standing flagship Ural listing.
Platts said the rating consists of a weighted average of three of the North Sea’s higher-sulphur crude oil streams, namely Johan Sverdrup, Grane and Flotta Gold.
