Russian crude oil exports averaged 2.99 million barrels per day this month, down 290,000 barrels per day from August levels and the lowest since September 2021, according to data from S&P Global Commodities at Sea global oil demand was still recovering from the pandemic. The data excludes Russia’s small share of Kazakhstan’s CPC blend exports.
