Energy stocks were lower this Friday afternoon, with the NYSE Energy Sector Index falling 0.7% while the SPDR Energy Select Sector ETF (XLE) was down 0.3%. The Philadelphia Oil-Service Sector Index was up 0.6%, while the Dow Jones US Utilities Index fell 0.7%.
