Sensex and Nifty, the two main equity benchmarks, started trading on Tuesday on a positive note amid strong global signals and falling crude oil prices.
Platform BSE Sensex rose 711 points to 59,122, while broader NSE Nifty traded at 17,515, up 203 points.
